Responsible for overseeing the sales and operations, analytics reporting and forecasting process for France. In addition, assist with operational inventory planning and replenishment processes.

Responsabilities :

  • Operations Planning:
      • Conduct monthly S&OP reviews for the business, in France.
      • Drive accountability through the sales, operations, marketing, and supply chain team to deliver monthly plans and reports. 
      • Create communications forums to address off-cycle problems and close gaps to plan. 
      • Drive continuous improvement of accuracy and benefit of the S&OP process prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate. 
      • Closely understand the dynamics of the local market place and have the ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of all the forces at play, POS, competitors, pricing and products;
  • Reporting and Analysis:
      • Create corporate reports to monitor sales performance and market share.
      • Develop a clear, scalable database structure to warehouse all POS data. 
      • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and materials to evaluate existing FRANCE performance and brand volumes.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
      • Work with the sales team to regularly update and maintain monthly itemforecasts based on projected sales trends. 
      • Liaise with global Supply Chain team to prepare all necessary documentation for the monthly forecast review.
      • Maintain reports to track forecast accuracy and variance versus budget.
      • Evaluate domestic inventory needs and provide recommendations on required volumes.
  • Inventory and Instock Management:
      • Be responsible for procurement of inventory requirements in France, and liaise with appropriate stakeholders to see goods through to WH for fulfilment. 
      • Build and manage item ladders that project sales and inventory requirements for each customer.
      • Review order flows and understand the lead time requirements to plan goods arriving into warehouse to meet retail instore requirements.
      • Create and implement replenishment policies.
      • Review store level detail to analyze top selling stores and ensure replenishment, as well as help to maximize/market our product to stores, while managing down the slow stores.
      • Administrate PO revisions to manage product levels in stores to avoid low in-stocks and end of year liability inventory.

Your profile: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of account and operations planning experience in a similar role;
  • Experience working with toys or similar products, with knowledge of Analytics & Operations best practices.
  • Toy or consumer goods industry and retail knowledge.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance. 
  • Must be able to speak fluent English.
  • Applying Expertise and Technical Capability: Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job well and applies this expertise accordingly, including:
        • An ability to develop and build cross-cultural, cross-functional relationships, and experience operating with overseas headquarters and Hong/Kong and China based peers
        • Working knowledge of overseas manufacturing and sourcing;
        • Strong computer literacy;
        • Excellent skills in Excel, Power Point, and Access.
        • Ability to aggregate large amounts of data quickly and efficiently.
        • Familiarity with forecasting (Demantra) and MRP systems.
        • Exposure to demand planning, forecasting; management of domestic inventory.
